The City has hired APAC Shears of Hutchinson, KS to mill and overlay asphalt on 2 streets this year. 1) E. 6th Street from the low water crossing (east of Country Club Road and E. 6th) to Fincham Road intersection and 2) Pedigo Drive, located in the Industrial Park in the northern area of Pratt. Milling the edges is scheduled to start Monday, August 1st. This typically does not hinder use of the street as they work and, when the paving begins, they typically work on one side at a time, which can lead to delays or one way traffic. Please keep this in mind in case you see "road work ahead" signs, it may be best to try an alternate route. The project should move quickly, weather permitting.
