[ARCHIVED] Extreme Weather Electric Bill Update
In light of the extreme winter weather event of February 2021, the City of Pratt Commissioners and Staff have been working diligently with the Governor's office and State Utility Agencies to address the potential extraordinary electric costs. The Governor recently signed into law Senate Bill 88, establishing a Low Interest Loan program to assist Municipalities in addressing this issue over a ten-year period. The City of Pratt has applied for this lean program and, in an effort to limit the impact of this situation, the City will add a 1 cent (.01) per kilowatt surcharge to the monthly ECA. Thank you for your understanding! If you have any questions, please call the Pratt City Office at 620-672-6446.
