City crews can help determine the source of the problem and correct it, if it’s in the City’s main line, without charge. Otherwise, if the problem is the private lateral, the property owner should arrange for a plumber to make the necessary repairs. Many state and local jurisdictions raise money from property taxes based on the value of property each person or business owns. The mill levy represents how much of your property's taxable value will be charged in property taxes. The mill levy is the "tax rate" that is applied to the assessed value of a property. One mill is one dollar per $1,000 of assessed value.
The City mill levy accounts for less than 10% of the total assessment of taxes in Pratt. See the Taxing Information section of this site for additional information.
