The City of Pratt continues the process of updating the 2001 Comprehensive Plan, and the Pratt City Planning Commission will host a public input discussion during its November 18, 2021, regular meeting, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 619 S. Main, Pratt, Kansas 67124.
The Comprehensive Plan states a community's vision and will help guide the community's future development and the surrounding planning area. It recommends policies and strategies for economic development, land use, transportation, and community facilities and services and provides a broader discussion of future land development within the City.
Participation from the community is vital for a successful plan, and we look forward to hearing your comments. Opportunities for further involvement will continue for the next several months during the Planning Commission's regular meetings, which fall on the third Thursday of the month. Also, the community survey will now be available through December 1, 2021, to participate online.
For more information on how you can be involved, don't hesitate to contact Brad Blankenship, City Inspector, at (620) 672-3866 or via email at bblankenship@cityofprattks.com.
